About OpenBase USA

A clearer view of business records

OpenBase USA helps people find U.S. company identifiers and navigate official business records. It is an independent service, not a government agency, a certified registry or a credit bureau.

The service shares the design and information principles of OpenBase France. U.S. records use a separate data model: registration jurisdiction, identifier type and original source stay distinct.

What is available today

The current collection contains 879 selected U.S.-incorporated SEC operating company profiles. Our geographic directory covers all 50 states, Washington D.C. and the five inhabited U.S. territories. This is not a claim to hold every business registered in those jurisdictions.
