879 selected SEC company profiles. Retrieved Sep 19, 2026. National geographic navigation is available, but state registry datasets have not yet been bulk imported.

Selection and freshness
Collection proceeds in bounded batches from the SEC ticker file, retaining operating entities with a U.S. incorporation jurisdiction. The collector resumes from its recorded position. This is a selective collection, not a representative sample or a ranking. Each profile shows its actual retrieval date. Collection and publication are separate steps; a new source record appears only after the static publication succeeds.
Identifiers and matching
CIK values preserve leading zeros. EINs are reproduced only where the SEC record reports a nonzero nine-digit number; they are not verified against an IRS service. State registration numbers and LEIs are not inferred. Entities are keyed by SEC CIK; matching across other registries requires separate evidence.
What we deliberately do not infer
- A SEC filing does not prove state good standing, solvency or a business license.
- Missing accounts do not prove that a company has no revenue.
- Industry SIC codes are not NAICS codes.
- No owner, director or beneficial-owner identity is inferred from a company name.
- Street addresses, personal contact details and consumer credit scores are not included.
Corrections and removal
Submit a correction or privacy request. Corrections to the originating register must also be addressed to that authority. OpenBase can restrict its own publication independently where appropriate. Removed profile IDs remain suppressed on subsequent imports.
Reuse and attribution
Link to the profile and its original source, preserve the collection date, and describe coverage accurately. Source material may have its own restrictions; public access is not a blanket license for every downstream use. Do not describe OpenBase content as government-certified.
